It was business as usual for the increasingly unbeatable Houston Texans this past week at home against their division rivals the Tennessee Titans. The team was able to get play after play together and score big throughout the game. By the time the clock ran out in the fourth quarter, Houston was able to rack up an insane 38 points to the Titans measly 14. Through excellent plays on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball, the Texans were able to stay undefeated in week 4.
It has become commonplace to talk about the Houston Texans offense with such positivity this season. They are constantly moving the ball up and down the field on both passing and running yards. A lot of that has to do with the fact that they have two of the best backs in the league at their disposal in Arian Foster and Ben Tate. Because of their consistency throughout the game, quarterback Matt Schaub is able to get the ball in the air when he needs to to all his receivers, most notably Andre Johnson.
Also, on the defensive side of the ball the Texans have been looking like one of the best teams in the league, and week 4 was no different. They were able to get three turnovers on the day and turned two of them into touchdowns for the team. This was all while allowing only 14 points from the lackluster Titans offense. The Houston D is hitting on all cylinders right now, which is bad news for any team that has to play them going forward.
The Texans should always be on your radar when you are making your NFL picks, especially in week 5. They are playing a Jets team that got destroyed by the 49ers in week 4. With cornerback Darrelle Revis out for the season, the Texans should be able to cover the -7.5 point spread they have been given relatively easily.
